What's your role at Space Connect, and what does a typical day look like for you?

My job role is Marketing and Success Executive (posh job title hey!), I also help with Customer Support too. A typical day for me starts with a coffee, followed by catching up with any messages and the world of social media! Then onto collaborating with the team to boost brand awareness! 😍

What do you like most about working at Space Connect and why?

Firstly, the people I work with, they make it a joy to come to work! Everyone helps each other out which is really important.  I like that no day is the same and that we're all learning together to make a difference in the world of software development and first class support. 😍

 

Share a brief snapshot of your career journey leading up to your role here

After leaving school, much like many others, I was uncertain about my career path. I enrolled into a childcare course in college, but it wasn't my cup of tea, so I left before completing the course. I ventured into an apprenticeship with a company specialising in software development for accounting software, dedicating nearly a decade to Customer Service and Project Management. Transitioning into administration, I focused on managing customer contracts. Following that, I shifted gears to a Customer Support role before landing in my current Marketing & Customer Success role.  👩

 

What's your favourite workday snack?

It has to be something that contains chocolate! 🍫

 

When it comes to a scone, do you spread the cream or jam first?

Jam and then cream! ALWAYS 😅

 

If you had a theme song that played every time you walked into a room, what would it be?

What do you like to do in your spare time?

I like to spend time with my young daughter, binge watch series on Netflix, and get out and about when the weather is nice! 🌞

 

What's your secret guilty pleasure TV show or movie that you love to binge-watch?

Only Fools and Horses! 📺

I would definitely be a cat! Free rent, free food, go out and come back when ever you want, sleep all day - What isn't there to love about that! 😻
