Meet Maxine: Sales Administrator

 

What's your role at Space Connect, and what does a typical day look like for you?

I am the team administrator/customer success at Space Connect. My day is made up of responding to demonstration requests, brochure downloads and website inquiries. Generating reports, general correspondence with resellers regarding potential clients and existing client renewals. I also reach out directly to end user clients to make sure they are happy with our solution. ⌨️

What do you like most about working at Space Connect and why?

We have a great team at Space Connect and every day is different. This is my first role in Software so I am continuing to learn new things each day. 🏢

 

Share a brief snapshot of your career journey leading up to your role here

I worked in the motor trade for roughly 15 years. Covering various roles across Sales and After-sales for Volkswagen Automotive Group. Learning all about the products and gaining experience in customer satisfaction. An opportunity arose and I decided to take the plunge into a new industry with Space Connect, I have been here over a year now and very much enjoying it. 🚗

 

What's your favourite workday snack?

I do like a banana! 🍌

 

When it comes to a scone, do you spread the cream or jam first?

I slather jam on one slice, cream on the other and then squash them together. 😅

 

If you had a theme song that played every time you walked into a room, what would it be?

What do you like to do in your spare time?

I have 3 children so I don't know what free time is. I spend most of my time being a taxi for all of their after school activities. 🚕

 

What's your secret guilty pleasure TV show or movie that you love to binge-watch?

I love watching Married at First Sight and have managed to rope in my husband to watching it too!  📺

I would be a dog so I could live the life of luxury rent free in a nice house and have my meals prepared for me. 🐩
