Meet Rachel: Customer Support Representative 

 

What's your role at Space Connect, and what does a typical day look like for you?

I work as a customer support representative, working primarily with customers to resolve any concerns or issues they might have, as their first line of support. I will pass it over to our second line of support if I cannot help. A typical day is monitoring our support desks, ensuring all customer questions are answered correctly and timely, asking follow up questions to ensure we have the correct information from them! 👋

What do you like most about working at Space Connect and why?

I like the team, we have a great atmosphere in the office and we support one another with any problems we might have! The customers are patient while we resolve their issues and always appreciative! 💖

 

Share a brief snapshot of your career journey leading up to your role here

I previously worked in a childcare nursery for many years! But once I had completed my degree at university, I moved into a TeleMarketing position which landed me the skills I needed to join Space Connect for the customer support role.  ☎️

 

What's your favourite workday snack?

Chocolate Digestive biscuits - a quick and easy and delicious snack! 🍪 Crunchy Wotsits if I want a savoury snack. I'd call myself the snack officer if that was a role..

 

When it comes to a scone, do you spread the cream or jam first?

Either or, it all goes down the same way!  😅

 

If you had a theme song that played every time you walked into a room, what would it be?

What do you like to do in your spare time?

I enjoy spending my time with my family, my daughter is an active little one so we go to Gymnastics on a Saturday and swimming over the weekend! I like to read and binge watch series! 🏊

 

What's your secret guilty pleasure TV show or movie that you love to binge-watch?

Grey's Anatomy is currently my guilty pleasure TV show but I could watch the US Office time and time again!  📺
